Global Citizen Prize at The Royal Albert Hall
Championing the world’s most inspiring activism
Global Citizen Prize 2019, the nonprofit’s inaugural activism awards ceremony, took place at London’s Royal Albert Hall and was broadcast around the world. Hosted by John Legend, with performances from Stormzy, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Martin, H.E.R., Jorja Smith and with appearances from youth activists, and UN leaders - it was hailed as the Oscars-meets-Nobel Prize. My team crafted and delivered the full marketing strategy spanning paid, owned and earned.
We worked closely with cross-functional counterparts, broadcasters, the venue, Live Nation and artist teams to develop all campaign and event creative and assets, craft complex rollout plans, drive public voting, develop bespoke content creation, red carpet management, ticketing, negotiating in-kind OOH, leveraging artist channels as well as a TikTok partnership during the platform’s ascendency.
500m impressions were generated and the show was watched by 10m+. Read about the award winning activists and their incredible work here.
